Taking a self portrait is the perfect way to express yourself, it comunicates a state to others about you. when looking at other artists self portraits may tell you a lot about them through a semi illussional state that you might not have meant to show, i do love abstract self portraits and your black and white one is beautiful

the perspective in your picture obviously dosent fail to create interest, "why the smear of lipstick" it asks us to ask you the question, what is causing you to close your eyes and tilt your head, is it passion? is it release? it asks so many questions

the power in this image has been created by the placement, placing yourself dead centre has created this wonderful intense and beautiful image
