Can i just write 'breath-taking' 100 times and call that a critique?
With its unique blend of scaled coolness and harsh warmth, this piece of emotional contrast at its finest will easily grab and hold your attention. Inspite the eye-stabbing amazingly reddish stain, the part that really steals the spotlight in this picture is the position of the body (and the hands as well), that gives just the right amount of shape and visual interest in the lower part of the picture. It speaks of simplified natural elegancy, enhanced by the absence of clothing that could contain textures, patterns or colors.
When i take a second good look, i notice few blurry parts that confuse me; i start wondering is that a part of the idea or a bit of reckless editing? Well, who cares. At the end, all thoughts and impressions inspired from this piece melt in that feeling of joy while looking at perfection.
How am I supposed to describe this? It took me a lot of time to stop my staring, because this piece is just wonderful. It has a great impact, giving the viewers the shudders. The model compliments the photo really well, with the position of her body and the lines that her hands give. And then, all the eyes go to her face. Boom! It is a true mixture between reality and imaginary world. Technically, this is flawless, the quality is good, and the processing is amazing. I really find this intriguing, as well as beautiful and with a great impact.
Contours of the pose are somehow fluidly sharp; entices the eye. The layers of shading and segue of colour are narcosis, and the ink is a beautifully bloody stain of relfection.
