First off, I think this is an amazing shot. The muted color really emphasizes the red-orange in only the best way. The impact for me was noticing how well the color palette of the clothing blends in with the background, as well as the overall attitude.
Your pose reminds me of how I would feel in the same weather. This body language tells me you're relaxed with tension, standing with inevitable purpose, and know what you're doing. You can tell that you're the focal point, yet the angle brings in so much of the background that you want to see more of everything.
Fantastic picture - I absolutely agree with the other positive comments regarding composition, depth of field / focus and colour contrast! I don't know whether anyone has mentioned it, but the shiny vivid blue on your right thumbnail nicely provides an accentuated lower left corner to the increasingly more blue diagonal coming down from your shirt via the shorts to the thumbnail, and this diagonal is in great complimentary contrast with the orange hair.
And don't worry about thin legs! Just because so many people these days are obese doesn't mean you have to worry if you are just "normal" - lean and healthy... And BTW, it's not only the photo - you do look great, legs inlcuded!

I hope to see more of this fabulous work
