First of all, the technique is amazing. The depth of field is just right, and the way her leg leads into her shot is superb. The concept is cool - you see so many pictures about the apocalypse, but this one has such a unique feel to that cliche. I feel like she's sitting in some war/plague ravaged world, and her response - all I've got to my name is this box, this lighter, and this cigarette, but it's the end of the world, so screw it. Very blase, and I love that. Plus, as I'm sure you know, the color scheme works very well, I love the color of the hair echoed faintly in the blush on her jaw bone - very elegant. And the stark black on light is echoed from her legs to her face, with her very defined eyebrows. Overall, a superbly constructed image, with a refreshing take on an old idea.
The entire concept is just wonderful to me. The entire feel of it just draws you in. I have a personal love for the entire clothing and hair style, as well. But I think, even if I didn't, no other would suit it.
The box is a lovely addition, coming back from the second picture from this (that I'm aware of), it just brings a whole feeling of the end together in the best kind of way.
The pop of orange against the rest of the picture suits it, quite well.
There's not much to be said on this that hasn't already been stated, but I still find it incredibly deep while at the same time not so far as to where others won't understand the meaning.
I really like all the colours and overall feeling and view however I think that hair colour for this picture is too bright and intense making me watch at them and don't see anything else. But I still adore this picture ^_^
I absolutely love this. The composition is just wonderful and your outfit fits the whole Apocalypse concept so well. And I'm extremely jealous of your hair.
"Goddamn this dusty room This hazy afternoon I'm breathing in this silence Like never before This feeling that I get This one last cigarette As I lay awake and wait For you to come through that door Oh, maybe, maybe, maybe I can share it with you I behave, I behave, I behave So I can share it with you You were not alone, dear loneliness You forgot but I remember this Oh stranger, stranger Stranger things have happened, I know"
A eso me suena esta foto "Stranger Things Have Happened" de los FOO, hahaha
