I love the time a young woman takes to prepare for a photo shoot. It's as if she is preparing for marriage or getting ready to meet a lover. The real onus is on the photographer to act as a magician, a trickster. To work at capturing the model’s spirit, to reveal her inner muse to wake the audience and transport them elsewhere – even for a second. Their head and heart taken somewhere they’ve never been.
