I checked to see landscapes and out from the rest this is the one that caught my attention the most.
The mist looks to bring out the sun's radiance, creating a solar and almost other-worldly atmosphere. The exposure is brought out in which comes in through the trees leading the focus in to the road and towards the figure on the bike. The right side looks to be faint and pale away from the sun's brilliance hinting the transition. I would like to add that many artists in production studios brainstorm a rough illustrations for video-game and film-making purposes.
So this shot is ideal for conceptual thought and inspiration.
I really like this shot, the warm fuzzy colours and the mood of this shot is what first captivates me. Also I like the mysterious feeling the mist creates, and you can barely see the biker coming from the mist.
However, I feel that the sun is a bit too overwhelming and overtakes the shot a bit. Your eye is automatically drawn to the brightest area of the shot. In this case maybe a step or two to the left, to make the sun hide more behind that tree, would have been better? I don't know the conditions the nature had that day, but I truly think this shout would have been a lot more mystifying and captivating if the sun wasn't so bright.
Other than that, it's a great composition with all the lines and figures. The perspective is great too, following the rules of thirds and the rays from the sun creates that mysterious feeling, while the mist swallows the road and leaves the rest to your imagination.
Keep the good work up and keep improving I'd love to see more from you in the future!
