The composition, the color, the choice of post editing is all wonderful but what i find even more amazing is that this is a self portrait. You are in complete control so the image from start to finish so the question of what is going through you mind is a valid one. Are you considering if your depth of field is correct, if your composition is the way you want it or that your dress is just right? Or possibly that you need to remember to pick up eggs and loaf of whole wheat bread on the way home. Whatever it was it worked for you, don't change your method. This image is serenely beautiful and delivers a wonderful airy feel that just screams spring/summer, i would expect to see this in teh pages of Elle or Vogue. Well done.
The washed out color of this photograph makes it appear to be older than it really is, adding great intensity to the vibrancy of your orange hair, the yellow daisy centers, the off pink of your corset top, your ruby red lips, and the pink and red colors of your strawberry box-purse. The motion of your skirt adds a feeling of movement to the picture that otherwise wouldn't be there and your intensely focused eyes, which are nowhere near the audience, give a kind of forlorn look as you search ceaselessly for some unknown object your onlookers have no knowledge of.
It's a moving picture that reminds some observers of woman in waiting, possibly remaining planted to a spot of great importance as she awaits the coming arrival--or word-- of some great, lost love.

Very pretty and extremely intriguing.
