I'll leave the technicalities of the photograph up to the professionals and only speak of what this photo conveys to me. The image conjures up exhaustion, isolation and emptiness. Tired of the mundane and not caring what others think, you look away from the world and into the fabric of your soul contemplating life decisions. The shadow on the left contains the darkness of your true self, while the shadow below hides a body that others may adore, but does not compare to the beauty in your mind. The red hair and bright lipstick emphasizes that you want to be noticed, but not necessarily for what's on the outside.

Okay.
I see the atmosphere of the picture you were going for and you definitely succeeded in the Grunge/punk type look.
I also recognize the bold shadow use in this picture and the slight blur effect added to it. This adds intensity and makes the main focus stand out.
Very good technique.

I only see one flaw in this picture though.
The diverted and lack of soul in the eye of the person.
She seems to be in space or something.
This takes some of the boldness away from the picture
but other than that it is very excellent.
I would give this a 4/5 stars altogether.
Nice Job!
I look forward to seeing more of this work from you!
